Technical objectives

1. Model the ultrasonic waves to determine the specific required laser parameters e.g. pulse duration, energy, and beam

2. Manufacture prototype laser UT system capable of transmitting and receiving pulsed ultrasound on reference components over a 5mm distance

3. Manufacture prototype eddy current system capable of inspection through 0.5mm thick layer

4. Manufacture prototype laser thermography system capable of detecting heating from laser on component

5. Inspection reliability data for above systems

6. Integration on production systems
